The Good Chat Foundation is a youth mental health charity committed to delivering sporting programs to disadvantaged youth to improve their mental health. As part of our mission to engage with the community, we need to extend our digital reach to raise awareness about the Good Chat, as well as inform those in our community about our recent developments.

 

Title/position: Social Media Manager

Duties/expectations:

  • Manage the social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & LinkedIn) and write engaging content.

  • Schedule posts in accordance with the social media strategy.

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for:

● Preparing and delivering a quarterly presentation to update CEO about social media trends, growth and impacts

(The volunteer is not responsible for the sourcing on new content in relation to our programs. Content for these specific areas will be provided to you for use on social media. )

 

Time commitment: At least three months, 1.5 - 2 hours per week.

 

Volunteers choose their time to carry out their duties. An office space is available in Osborne Park, if required to carry out your duties.

 

Good Chat volunteers will receive a fuel allowance for any work that needs to be carried out, outside of their standard area of work.
